Newly formed 2046 Commission

The Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky African American Chamber of Commerce has announced the inaugural members of its newly formed 2046 Commission. The commission was created to strengthen the foundation of Black-owned businesses and is made up of 15 regional leaders with backgrounds in economics, finance, purchasing and investing, as well as policymakers.

SoCap Accelerate taking new applications

SoCap Accelerate is opening applications for the third class in its program aimed at helping health care-related companies grow and scale. The accelerator is led by executive director Rico Grant, founder of CrownMob, a startup marketplace for Black haircare, and a longtime mentor of startups in the region.
