The Alloy Growth Lab had some announcements recently: ACTivate Technologies, which calls itself the “GPS for Organizational Performance,” launched its solution ACTivate Advance, an AI-empowered SaaS platform that provides real-time business insights. ACTivate Advance offers actionable data based on what’s working and what’s not in an organization.

Alloy Growth Lab also welcomed Spot Health to the fold. Spot is a Y Combinator graduate looking to make home testing affordable and accessible, enabling new classes of digital health and wellness products and services.

Carefeed closes on $3 million

Carefeed, a provider of cloud-based and HIPAA-compliant digital communication solutions, closed a $3 million financing round led by Reformation Partners with participation from existing investors Allos Ventures and M25. The investment enables Carefeed to accelerate adoption of its platform by skilled nursing and senior living communities across the U.S. and Canada, broaden its suite of solutions, and expand into other patient care settings.

Kinetic Vision’s Innovation Center

A new Cincinnati facility has been built to accelerate innovation. Kinetic Vision’s new Innovation Center is a state-of-the-art 51,400 sq. ft. facility, built in collaboration with the Village of Evendale. It is part of the AeroHub Innovation District, a new industry/education partnership for Industry 4.0 workforce development in additive manufacturing, robotics, industrial scanning, and artificial intelligence.
