Amazon Air Hub opens at CVG Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) has opened the Amazon Air Hub after four years of planning and construction. The hub will be equipped with robotics technology that helps move and sort packages, including robotic arms and mobile drive units that transport packages across the building. Thermal energy technology at the zoo The Cincinnati Zoo is testing thermal energy technology developed by an MIT student. Among other things, researchers will look to see if body temperature changes around the time of ovulation and around the time of embryo implantation so the zoo can better study the reproductive process. Workhorse to provide unmanned aerial systems Drone-integrated electric vehicle company Workhorse has entered into a pilot program with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to provide small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) as a service to support NRCS efforts in Mississippi. National recognition for STACK Cincinnati-based STACK Construction Technologies has been nationally recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation after being named to the Inc. 5000 list for the fifth consecutive year. Health Carousel named a fastest growing company For the sixth year in a row, healthcare staffing and workforce solutions company Health Carousel has also made the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America list.
