Cincinnati Incorporated has used its Big Area Additive Manufacturing (BAAM) machine to produce one of the largest monolithic multi-material 3D objects to date. The demonstration proved that large-scale 3D printing can be done effectively with recycled composite materials.

CVG rolls out new sensor network

A new network of sensors and other technology will aid in the flow of passengers, luggage and more at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). In 2014, CVG became the first airport in the U.S. to use IoT tech in its security screening area.

Sustainable refrigeration and food insecurity

To help address food insecurity in downtown Dayton, Emerson has donated a sustainable refrigeration architecture developed at its Helix Innovation Center in Dayton. The technology, called Copeland, is an alternative to large, centralized systems.

Clubessential acquires Exerp

Clubessential Holdings, a Cincinnati-based provider of software for golf and yacht clubs, has acquired Exerp, a Copenhagen-based company that specializes in membership management software for large global fitness brands.
